American Idol Feud Heats up Big Time!
Once again the American Idol Feud has flared up. Nicki Minaj calls Mariah Honey Boo Boo, Mariah says there have been no Nicki Minaj songs that have gone to number one, and the two Divahs bring womanhood to a new low.
To be honest, whenever one of those females opens their mouth I groan. They never say anything having to do with an actual music critique, Mariah is sort of bland, and Nicki…Nicki should probably realize one thing: American Idol ratings have gone down since she joined the show.
I don’t know what Nicki Minaj before surgery was like, but I do know that in addition to starting every mean, little criticism with a sugary compliment, she looks like a clown. The wigs are glaringly atrocious, the clothes reflect the choice of a stripper in a dark room, and…she just doesn’t make much sense.
How interesting. Could there be a problem with the ratings because of her?
There are certainly no problems with the American Idol show because of Keith Urban. The fellow constantly amazes me with his spot on musical analyses. ‘Baiby (baby), on the seventh chord following the trill, raise your pitch slightly and the cut in will be gd’dy.’
Keith makes you think, and he does so by phrasing criticisms gently and with affinity.
Randy Jackson, on the other hand, for a fellow who has worked with American Idol performances for years, and who has produced many records, never seems to say much of anything. He either says, ‘Dog!’ Or, ‘He/She is in it to win it!’ Never a real observation concerning the musicality of the contestants.
So, will Jennifer Lopez come back?
I doubt it.
Jennifer has a career.
And speaking of careers, Keith might move on because he has a career.
As for Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, they should start look for new careers.
